Harry Redknapp - GONE!
Gone, apparently, got it on good authority.

If you lay some money out on it, don't shoot the messenger.

Re: Harry Redknapp - GONE!
I've told this story a few times on here, but here goes anyway.

My dad was a youth team (and later reserve) player and when all the youths were training at Chadwell Heath Harry used to turn up in his motor and flog Fred Perry shirts of unknown origin out of the boot to all comers.

Harry Redknapp is responsible for car boot sales!

Re: Harry Redknapp - GONE!
Yeah, I can just see Eddie Howe going a bundle on having that cunt undermining him.

I see QPR have said there will be a 'complete restructure' in terms of bringing through youth and not spending a fortune on over the hill players. The Redknapp Effect strikes again.

Getting into bed with the ruskies, let's hope they are measuring him up for cement boots soon.

It is believed Harry is particularly interested in a proposal from Bournemouth’s Russian owner Maxim Demin to join the board and become director of football.

That's probably true but when your going up against Grant, Roeder, Zola etc then it's not exactly massive praise

I believe Harry Redknapp is rotten to the core.

Sydney - As I said, I tend to agree. First things first, and that's binning BFS.

Yes Coffee, "Arry" will set up shop at the Leigh Delamere Services on the M4.

Sydney, do you think it's too late for him to start a new tax consultancy business?

Re: Harry Redknapp - GONE!
PD, stranger things may have happened but I cant honestly see old “Arry” coming back to us, for my money he’s going on the pundit circuit when his leg is fixed, that is if his leg is fucked or just an excuse to quit before the rats leave the ship, as lets face it QPR looked all but down to me.

I don’t think we will see him back in management, but expect for the next couple of years he will be linked with every vacancy that comes up.

Who??

Let's not make this all about Eddie Howe ffs, it was just a thought that I put into writing. No need to piss your pants about it.

Re: Harry Redknapp - GONE!
The thing is, Bleeding, that everyone keeps going on about Eddie Howe. Yes, he's done great things at Bournemouth and before, but what makes people think he's come to us, and at a time when we feel like taking him? If he can replicate his success at the top level, chances are he'll be snapped up by a Liverpool or Man City or whoever; and if he can't, then he'll be just another reasonably good manager at a reasonably good club. It's the way of the world.

Re: Harry Redknapp - GONE!
Coffee - I would tend to agree with you, apart from his age, health concerns and his 'history' with us, Redknapp still hasn't got a clue how to win away from home. But Sullivan has had a carrot dangled in front of him now. Redknapp for 2 years then Eddie Howe? stranger things have happened in football, that's for sure.

Coffee 5:52 Thu Feb 5
Re: Harry Redknapp - GONE!
Private, I can't imagine that happening.

Re: Harry Redknapp - GONE!
Is there anyone on here ITK if Sullivan and Harry have any kind of relationship? Do they know each other? Do they get on? Does Sullivan rate/like him, etc?

in top three of the best managers we have had...make of that what you will

Re: Harry Redknapp - GONE!
I don't know why people think our board would want him. Sullivan likes to be involved in transfers and the club keep saying they want younger players.

That's the opposite of redknapp.

I have been giggling like a little girl at that.
